Learn how to cultivate happiness through mindful choices and healthy habits.

Robert Puff Ph.D. - Psychology Today

Have you ever looked at someone who seems to radiate joy and wondered, "Are they just lucky?" It's easy to assume that people who seem to have had easier lives—stable families, good education, successful careers—are simply fortunate when it comes to happiness. Conversely, we might believe those who have faced significant challenges are destined to struggle to find joy.

But is happiness just a matter of luck? After a lifetime of exploring this question, I've come to a different conclusion.

Learning from Life's Challenges

Throughout my life, I've sought out individuals who seem genuinely happy, regardless of their external circumstances. These aren't necessarily the wealthiest, most attractive, or most accomplished individuals. They are simply people who seem to be thriving, despite whatever life throws their way. And when I ask them about the turning point in their lives, the moment that led to their current state of well-being, the answer is always the same: challenges.…

Learning the Beauty of Small Talk
It can be Beneficial

Whether it's at a party, a friend's wedding, or the workplace, some people just dread small talk. And while these events are great places to meet new people, it can bring more anxiety than excitement for some. They might worry that it will be boring, awkward, or that they'll run out of things to say. Then there are people who believe small talk represents meaningless and trivial conversation. But it doesn't have to be that way! In reality, increased well-being and positivity are some of the benefits of small talk.

Be interested in things

People with hobbies and interests always seem to have a topic or an opinion to share. Get inspired by them, and you'll have a launching point to get someone else involved in conversation.

Get your mind right

If you spend the week before the event anticipating and worrying because you know you'll feel uncomfortable, you're setting yourself up for failure.…

Researchers show more energy needed to get going than later in walks when body is working more efficiently.

Researchers have hit on an unusual tip for walkers who want to burn more calories: rather than plodding along steadily from start to finish, consider taking rest stops.

The advice emerged from a study of volunteers who were put through their paces in the laboratory to measure the oxygen and energy demands of short strolls versus longer walks.

Tests on the participants found that walking or climbing stairs in 10- to 30-second bouts required 20 to 60% more oxygen, a proxy for energy consumption, than covering the same distance in one continuous session, largely because walking is more efficient after several minutes in motion.

“When we walk for shorter bouts, we use more energy and consume more oxygen to cover the same distance,” said Francesco Luciano, a researcher at the University of Milan and first author on the study.…

Key Facts:

  • High-potency cannabis affects genes linked to energy and immune response.
  • Frequent use leaves distinct DNA marks, potentially linked to psychosis risk.
  • Findings could enable future DNA tests for psychosis susceptibility in cannabis users.

Published in Molecular Psychiatry, this is the first study to suggest that the use of high potency cannabis leaves a distinct mark on DNA, providing valuable insights into the biological impact of cannabis use.

Many of us have had experiences with one of these people in recent years. There seems to be a lot more of them, so we should all be prepared how to recognise and handle them. Are to ready? He is a good Writer with lots of Solutions on different Topics.

Navigating the world of manipulation is a tricky business. We’ve all come across those who seek to control us through their cunning words and hidden intentions.

But don’t fret, because we hold the power to put them in their place.

In my experience, having the right phrases at your disposal can help you stand your ground against a manipulator. These aren’t just words; they’re mini shields of self-protection.…

As a Christian, I apologise for all the Hypocrisy and shameless Monetization the Gospel has been subjected to. Televangelists are a SHAM. Not the Real Thing.
This is not what Jesus Came for! Reminds me of how Shameless Big Pharma started off with all their Charlatans and the Sickness Industry they are Today. I pray that People will get to experience the True Essence of who Jesus Really is. Not all that Fame and Falsity those Showmanists project - So Bad.

Jesus has never taken advantage of me. Nowhere in the Bible does it tell you to
Pay for your Blessings. That's like a Lucky Dip with a Booby Prize. They Badger you with Enticements, presenting God like some Slot-Machine…..so radically different to how I found Jesus - that was not dependent on the Church Scene. Skip all that Modern Churchianity Friends.…

Someone said: This is the American Dream mixed with (Crafty) Religion.
EXACTLY, I cannot Agree More!

This is AGAINST the Teachings of Christianity - Know the Difference. Fortunately, I've Never had Anything to do with these Jerks or anyone like them. Many Christians can relate with that.

I would like to know 2 things: How can the American Government allow those
Mega-Churches to stay Tax-Exempt? There's absolutely NO LIMIT to those "Preachers" Greed: Devils Religion! AND How can their Law System permit someone like Kenneth Copeland who is Extremely Unstable to Keep a Driver's Licence much less a Pilot's Licence? That's Reprehensible!!! You can be Sure of this Friends, that is Not TRUE Christianity!!!

In recent years, I have often made this statement: It's astonishing, the amount of Evils that Come from America. How can Anyone call it a Christian Country? In fact, on top of all the Worldly Evils that Come from the USA, their Greedy Monger Preacher's Exploitations are even More Staggering.…

This In fact has been the Underlying reason why So Many People's Health has been badly affected, and the Over Processed "Foods" in recent years have drastically affected the Health of Many including Children.…

ONE OF THE VERY BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CHILDREN - Especially an Only Child - IS LET THEM HAVE TIME OUTDOORS. LET THEM EXPLORE. NATURE IS GOOD FOR THEM - NOT SO MUCH TECH. TOO MUCH TECH IS BAD FOR THEM. IT'S ACTUALLY COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE. ESPECIALLY TO THEIR IMAGINATIONS. SO CONSIDER INTRODUCING THEM TO SIMPLE DISCOVERIES OUTDOORS HEY?

Kids NEED To Explore - Don't Limit Their Imagination

Children’s Indoor Lifestyle Stunts Their Imagination
Sydney Morning Herald

The way we have allowed our housing market to develop means that most of our new our homes are extraordinarily close together (“Ban kids from social, but what will they do outside?”, September 14). They are designed to look inwards; there is no scope for seeing wider horizons. And with this comes a tendency for a narrowness of imagination and vision. This means that Daisy Turnbull’s point is well made. Where are the backyards to play in?…
