Anxiety is one of the most difficult health disorders to deal with, mainly because it makes you feel out of control and unable to make changes. But that’s a myth, to say the least.

During my second year of college, after parents separation, depression and anxiety, I was at a crossroads: I had been put on various medications for depression and anxiety. It was around this time that OCD started to kick in. Suddenly, everything had to be perfect and if it wasn’t, anxiety got worse. Every little thing became a huge deal in my mind, and I felt nothing like the person I used to be. I knew something wasn’t right. This wasn’t my natural self and certainly wasn’t what I wanted to be. None of the medications were working to full capacity despite two years of attempts to get them right.…

YES, THEY PROMOTE OUR HEALTH RATHER THAN DEMOTE IT. FOOD MANUFACTURERS HAVE THOUGHT OF ONE CLEVER DEMISE AFTER THE OTHER, PROMOTING SYNTHETIC AND PSUEDO FOODS WE ARE NOT MEANT TO INGEST - INFLUENCING GOVERNMENT HEALTH DEPARTMENTS AND ALL, MAKING THEIR ARGUMENTS SOUND LEGIT, MAKING THE PUBLIC SICK. AND BIG PHARMA WITH THEIR MEDICAL AGENTS HAVE BEEN ONLY TOO HAPPY TO RAKE IN THE PROFITS. BUT AN AWAKENING IS STIRRING THE HEARTS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE DISCOVERING THE BENEFITS OF REAL FOODS: YES OLD THINGS BECOME NEW. THIS IS INSTIGATED BY PROFESSIONAL NATURAL HEALTH ADVOCATES AND MANY HEALTH SCIENTISTS ALIKE WHO ARE NOW SIDING WITH NATURE, PROMOTING IT'S MERITS AND IT'S WAYS.

I Will Show You Some Real Health Promoting Foods That Are So Beneficial For Our Health That Have Been Drastically Altered Or Replaced (they now clash with our natural body chemistry) In Western Countries Like Australia, And A Few Really Beneficial Foods that are Very Nutritious for our Families!…

Khorasan is an ancient wheat also known as Kamut and is thought to have originated in Egypt. Khorasan is a much larger grain than wheat and is higher in minerals, vitamins and fats and has up to 40% more protein.  This makes it a super energy source plus this gives it it’s unique rich and nutty flavour. Khorasan flour with its gluten ratio is ideal for any kind of baking and along with wheat, it doesn’t lose its texture with freezing. By Jesabe Warner – Naturopath

Khorasan: A Tasty Nutritious Ancient Grain With Benefits To Our Health

A variety of whole grain wheat, kamut (a brand name for khorasan) contains about 250 calories per cup with 7 grams of fiber and 11 grams of protein. Compared to modern wheat, it is much richer in polyphenols and fatty acids as well as minerals like selenium, which support a healthy immune system. Kamut also offers antioxidant benefits, helping to reduce gut inflammation and reducing pain associated with IBS.…

EVERY FAMILY PANTRY SHOULD HAVE SOME!

I FOUND THIS ARTICLE WHEN HONEY CAME UP AGAIN IN MY RESEARCH THIS WEEK. I HAVE RESEARCHED HONEY MANY TIMES IN RECENT YEARS BECAUSE I LOVE ITS BENEFITS AND IT ABSOLUTELY INTRIGUES ME – NEVER FAILS TO FASCINATE ME. I LOVE TO TASTE HONEY FROM DIFFERENT FLOWERS – IT’S A BIT LIKE ENJOYING DIFFERENT CHEESES OR WINES.

Do You Know The Benefits Of RAW HONEY And How To Make Sure It IS Raw Honey?

ONLY, WE MUST BE VERY CAREFL TO MAKE SURE IT IS RAW HONEY WE ARE BUYING, NOT PASTEURIZED, AND NOT ADULTERATED WITH CHEAP TOXIC HGCS (High Glucose Corn Syrup) ETC. NASTY MANUFACTURERS! ALSO, BEWARE OF CHEAP “PURE HONEY” IMMITATIONS THAT CONTAIN VERY LITTLE NUTRITIONAL VALUE AND ARE DEVOID OF THE THERAPUETIC BENEFITS RAW HONEY OFFERS YOU. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT ARTICLE.

THIS IS A REALLY GREAT STORY. I CAME ACCROSS IT SOME TIME AGO AND AGAIN ON MY MOBILE, SO THIS TIME I'M SHARING IT, SO YOU CAN ENJOY IT TOO. TO ME, IT IS ONE OF THOSE 'EVERGREENS' THAT CAN BE ENJOYED AT ANY TIME - SO INTERESTING, I FOUND IT AND YOU WILL TOO. I'VE JUST COMMENCED MAKING HOMEMADE BREAD WITH SPELT AND KHORASAN FLOUR TWO WEEKS AGO AND IT'S REALLY NICE - SO HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS, UNLIKE MODERN WHEAT WHICH IS THE OPPOSITE.

In the middle of a vineyard at Langhorne Creek in South Australia is an unusual sight in a territory known for its red wine — a patch of unfamiliar mixed grains.

The trial plot is home to 15 varieties of old wheat and ancient grains.

It was planted by local bakers Emily Salkeld and Chris Duffy, who are on a mission to add more flavour to bread.…

MANY OF US HAVE BECOME AWARE OF HOW ANTI-NUTRITIONAL WHEAT (Modern Wheat) IS, HAVING BEEN HYBRIDISED SO MANY TIMES - IT'S GLUTEN IS ACTUALLY BAD FOR EVERYONE, NOT JUST CELIACS. THERE IS ALSO A SURGE OF INTEREST IN ANCIENT GRAINS LIKE SPELT AND QUINOA AND KHORASAN WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN HYBRIDISED. JUST RECENTLY, I HAD MY FIRST EXPERIENCE MAKING SPELT BREAD AND SPELT & KHORASAN BREAD IN A BREADMAKER. HAVE BEEN MAKING A FEW TOO MANY EXCEPTIONS WITH WHEAT CRACKERS AND SEED BREADS (basically wheat bread) AT ALDI'S. NOW I CAN MAKE MY OWN and NO NEED FOR CRACKERS, MY WHOLESOME BREAD IS NATURALLY CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE AND SOFT INSIDE. YUM!

What Is Spelt?

Spelt is an ancient grain widely recognized for its many health benefits. Triticum spelta, the scientific name for spelt, is a hardier and more nutritious cousin to modern wheat (Triticum aestivum). Some taxonomists classify spelt as a parent of wheat.…

An interesting question. I remember standing at a Bakery counter about 20 years ago when I bought a quiche as did someone next to me. We asked for a little salt to be sprinkled on them and the reply was, they can't do that, they don't have any salt shaker in the place and they don't use salt. Talk about extremists, they were determining what we could or could not do, based on medical blurb I call paranoia.

At that time, "No Salt" was being promoted - many people joined in the craze and some Cafes weren't placing salt shakers on their tables anymore. Being a Researcher, I commented to the other person that I had worked out about 10 things that can go wrong with our health if we don't have salt in our diet, some weeks before and listed them by memory to her.…
