As a Passionate Natural Health Researcher and CEO of Several Websites and Creation with a Passionate Care and Concern for Others Health and Happiness,
I was so into everything of long hours duration on a daily basis including many half nights and weekends. I do find my Work of Creativity and Research VERY INTERESTING to the point where I could “Live on Air” so to speak, neglecting meals often when I start a Project and work right through till I finish it – regardless of my Own Personal Health Needs, so Vital in Life for ALL of Us, not some of us.

PLEASE CARE FOR YOUR EYES!
Funny thing is, as an Inspirational Writer and Spiritual Writer, I really believe in “Practicing what I Preach” that for me is the Golden Standard – and I will not Compromise with that, as like many of you out there, I dislike Hypocrisy in any shape or form, be it religious, political or other. Yet when it comes to Health, I do Practice what I Preach – when it comes to things which are Vital and Essential – but looking back now, I wasn’t Fully practicing my Beliefs as a Researcher when it comes to My Own Health really. The reason for that? I just kept running short of time.
How Silly, how Silly is that? What Captain of a Cruise Ship or Pilot in Aviation Services is going to Neglect their Health when they have a Crew to Look After?
I mean to say, they would find themselves quickly out of Work if they arrived for the day’s work each morning not presentably dressed and Low in Energy from Late Nights or Inadequate Nutrition, would they not? That’s a given. Yet having no Employer to answer to, and running my own schedules etc you could say I was “running amuck” and for that Perpetuated Mistake, I now have Early Stage Cataracts, I know Instinctively, the minute the Optician informed me, to be “Work Induced” and my Lack of Discretion. When I immediately and quietly exclaimed this, she disagreed and “assured me “No, this is Age Related”…..I said “a totally separate matter?” and she said “YES!”
My strong Instincts and a Well-Known Principle to Researchers told me that’s actually wrong. Most times it’s the progression over the years of Neglected Diet or Nutrient Deficiencies; Sleep Deprivation; Sedentary Living and Lack of Exercise like Walking; Years of Hectic Lifestyle “Not Really Age” that cause certain Disorders and Ailments and Health Challenges. It’s no different with our Eyes really.
Nutritional Advice and Certain Precautions was the one thing lacking in that appointment. They were Very Professional and Thorough with Everything Else. Seriously, I could not fault them and they were Very Relatable. In fact, my Over-all experience there was Positive, apart from the mention of Cataracts of-course.
I know as a Researcher, many Opticians practice Nutrition Advice and Certain Questions and Cautions that are part of their Service. However such things were not mentioned in the appointment I attended, even though I was Very Impressed and Happy with their Services.
Something they did do in particular is to prescribe Proper Scripts for Both Eyes (one lense weaker, one stronger for me) after 3 Opticians refused to do that for me years ago, assuming they knew better than a Leading Eye Specialist who Always did that.
They said “That Eye is too far gone. We won’t worry about that one. I will give you the Same Lense for both Eyes.” Mind you, their crumby decision making has been responsible for Turning that Weak Eye and it’s $6,000 for a Surgeon to Turn it Back (Cosmetically speaking) As the saying goes “Some Professionals are Ratbags” they’re not really Professional at all. In fact, their ill advice scared me off of attending Optician Appointments pretty much permanently like some people after a Bad experience with a Dentist (about 20 Years) and then SPECSAVERS came to the rescue. Their Prices are also Unbelievably Great – not the Hefty Prices we find at Most Opticians. My two pair of Specs are Absolute Bargains, and I am significantly Improving with Nutritional Meals (more of them) Better Sleeping Hours and Breaks from Screen Time to Adequately Care for my Visual and Health Needs. Lesson Learned. Would You Care to do likewise if Your Personal Health Care isn’t what it could or should be due to whatever reasons it could be better?
If the Answer is YES, I will be So Happy I wrote this Article:)

I love how detailed your explanation is — well done!
