Using This Pandemic Time To Our Advantage – Some Things Can Be Good!

SOME NEGATIVE VOICES WERE SAYING "YOU'LL DRIVE EACH-OTHER NUTS" and "THE KIDS WILL DRIVE YOU NUTS" and YOU KNOW THE SAYING: NEGATIVITY STRENGTHENS NEGATIVITY. THE SAME CAN BE TRUE FOR A POSITIVE OUTLOOK - YOU CAN REAP GOOD FRUIT. ONE PERSON SAID THAT "COVID CAN MAKE YOU, YOUR MARRIAGE OR BREAK YOU" - DEPENDS WHAT WE DO IN/WITH THIS TIME AYE? SOME APPROACHES ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS. I WILL NAME A FEW HERE.

I don't want to sound sinchy but I believe that things can work out for Good and have practiced this for some years. You know something? A few months ago, I could see ways our lives could be enriched and improved during this time and sure enough, I'm hearing reports in Good News media of people experiencing that. Stay with me......

Think about it for a minute: things were "rush rush" for most people. Not enough time to do everything, not enough time to spend with each-other and kids........ then think of all the time most of you have now? Think of this as a positive, rather than a negative hey? Then sit down with paper and pen and work out ways you can use some of this time constructively. Not sure? Lost for answers? That's why I'm writing this post. I placed content on another website I run, a few months ago some readers liked - did not think to place some here, so away we go!

I've been thinking as I have other times, there is so much in the world to compromise and break up the Family Unit Today and lessen the quality of Home Life and Friendships.

Tech may have a good use for us at this present time. I just hope that isn't the whole picture of things for you and you can be inspired by words you read here, to "step outside the box"......be it the TV Computer or Smartphone at this time and look at things this way: there may be limitations in some respects but there are opportunities in others. Different to what some of us expected for 2020 I know. Myself included. But I'm turning things in a different direction and using this time to my advantage. Same with a few friends who are looking on the bright side, so time is not wasted.

Given more time presently, we can turn things around from where they have been in some areas of living.

Things To Remember After Pandemic And Preparing For Later

There has been much in this world and nation for decades now to depersonalize us and stereo-type us as well as separate the Family Unit from room to room and even to different houses. It has been increasingly that way over the last few decades. Tech and Media has much to do with that - claiming so much of our attention.

We need awareness to these things and see how we can best work at improving things towards stronger Family and peaceful Home Environment.

Yes, and with so much Facebook and Instagram dominating the scene today, even Single people are needing real communications with Friends. Seems that much in life some of us from our mid 30s have known has shifted over to Virtual Living: most things a lot of people engage in is on the TV Screen, on the Computer or Laptop, on the Iphone or Mobile Smart Phone hey?

How about all those nice Home Cooked Meals and occasional meals at Restaurants replaced with precooked meals, take aways and Pizzas etc delivered to our doors?

Things We Can Do Now And Maintain Later For Better Lifestyles

I know there's many restrictions with outings and meals at Restaurants and Diners for many of us during the Pandemic until it eases and we are notified – how many are taking advantage of all that spare time we have on hand at this time by finding some joy and pleasure in making some good home cooked/prepared meals together or something special and being venturous if we live on our own?

Discovering gardening joys of growing some of our own herbs, fruits and veggies is a pleasant pass-time too, affording some fresh air and sunshine and intrigue of seeing our plants grow – especially seedlings – maybe some ferns, shrubs or flowers.

Many folk have been discovering these interests in recent months during COVID and finding they are improving their quality of Life instead of missing certain outings. Good aye?

Some say they would never go back to their previous way of living – just enjoy certain outings later when they can.

Yes, people are buying more ingredients from Supermarkets etc to make New Recipes or more of their favourite meals. The Garden Nurseries have lots more people visiting, who are venturing into gardening for the first time or different projects they're coming up with.

Some people are taking Free Cooking and Gardening Lessons over YouTube while others are learning Arts and Crafts. YouTube is great for all these things – almost anything we want to know, it's all there. You can even learn how to Sing an play Music over the Internet.

There are many good folk who like to teach lots of good things on Videos. If they are generous with their knowledge and experience, they can teach us lots of different Skills and YouTube makes this worth their time. Efforts are rewarded with extra income – the more Videos they make and the more Views they have from us, the more generated income they receive. And the better quality the Videos are, the more views they will have. Some of them get very generous with ideas, some even share their Secrets. Some specialize in the best ways to make Home improvements.

Some of us are finding the Joys of Walking and Nature - they're quite therapeutic and help to brighten our outlook in a unique way. Most times it's a feel-good experience, many discover. Want to have some real fun? You could learn how to use a Jigsaw (carpentry tool) you can make items to sell over eBay, GumTree or Etsy. My nephew in-law used to be very good at using one. He made small artistic tables in dolphin designs etc for in the house or garden setting – balcony or patio.

Possibilities are endless friends, let your mind work for you instead of against you "I am going to make a better lifestyle ready to replace virtual living (all that TV and Tech - excess)"............."We are going to work at closer relations with some togetherness activities"............"Things that are going to make Me/Us brighter than before"............

Only bad things make us sad, like watching too much News for instance. Find some other way to get the necessary COVID Reports (guidelines) and make these months brighter or lighter like I've been writing about here in this post. Others are doing them and feel better for it. All the best to you!
