PLOYS Of Televangelists: Let The People Speak – Hear What They Are Saying:)

Someone said: This is the American Dream mixed with (Crafty) Religion.
EXACTLY, I cannot Agree More!

This is AGAINST the Teachings of Christianity - Know the Difference. Fortunately, I've Never had Anything to do with these Jerks or anyone like them. Many Christians can relate with that.

I would like to know 2 things: How can the American Government allow those
Mega-Churches to stay Tax-Exempt? There's absolutely NO LIMIT to those "Preachers" Greed: Devils Religion! AND How can their Law System permit someone like Kenneth Copeland who is Extremely Unstable to Keep a Driver's Licence much less a Pilot's Licence? That's Reprehensible!!! You can be Sure of this Friends, that is Not TRUE Christianity!!!

In recent years, I have often made this statement: It's astonishing, the amount of Evils that Come from America. How can Anyone call it a Christian Country? In fact, on top of all the Worldly Evils that Come from the USA, their Greedy Monger Preacher's Exploitations are even More Staggering.

I have two Christian Friends over there who share my Sentiments. I cannot call myself a "Christian" anymore - it represents so much GOOD and Evil these days. You can blame it on those Televangelists.

Truly speaking, they Exploit God as much as they Exploit People. You can be SURE they will give an Account for that. Jesus WILL Say "Depart from Me (get out of My Sight) I Don't Know You" They will Not see One Day in Heaven!

Repentant Sinners will ENJOY that Wonderful Paradise before Unrepentant Preachers. They have a Nerve to use His Precious Name in Vain. That is in fact, Equal to the Blasphemy of Sinners. I know people who have not found Jesus yet, who have a much Healthier Fear of The Lord than they have.
They have Absolutely None.

For all their so-called "Bible Knowledge" they're Absolute Fools. Because having "Sold their Souls to the Devil" it is guaranteed, they will never see Repentance.
As the saying goes "We take Nothing with us when we Leave this Earth" And should the Coming of Christ come first, shall we say? Never mind those Fancy Suits, they will "Wet their Pants" when they see Jesus! That is not meant to sound crude, it's an old Australian Saying for when someone gets a REAL FRIGHT.

For Sure, God Knows these are False Preachers….Everyone knows!
They prefer Money to God. It's Sickening! I have a question to ask you: How do People attend those "Services" so many times and stay Sane? And just to think most of them would be Growing Up Children, so deeply Concerns me! I Always Feel for those Kids!

James Jani Video HERE

If biblical Christianity is true, then these people will certainly be held accountable.

And the fact that even Scripture, Jesus warns about men like these False Prophets, and people still buy into their Lies, is just saddening as a Christian myself.

James is back and going at the Biggest Charlatans on the Planet.

Great to have you back Mate. You’re a credit to the YouTube Community.

This Young Man is Wise beyond his years. May God Bless him as he Exposes the Deception.

No human being I've ever seen has looked more demonic than Copeland when he smiles.

I do believe these people Know what they're doing. Extreme levels of Narcissism, an Ego Unrivalled. Its the same thing as Self Help Gurus and cults. They've seen that they can Manipulate Certain People through the Guise of Religion.

I understand you as I was raised in a New Age cult and had similar frustrations. You should write your Story or place it on YouTube?

As a Christian myself, the Prosperity Gospel Mega Churches makes me Sad. I once read a wise quote that said “if you’re putting an adjective in front of the word ‘gospel’, you’ve got the wrong gospel.” And it’s so true. These “Pastors” are turning people away from God. I hope these Evil “Churches” get shut down because they are not teaching the True Gospel. This is Not of God, it is a Cult.

One of the churches I grew up in was a small little church in Virginia. I remember when they finally said they had to build a new space and upgrade because the congregation and youth ministry had gotten too large.

The preacher even said "we will only build the new building with donations. If it takes us a decade, it takes us a decade" and sure enough, the Pastor was extremely transparent and it took forever to build that New Church.

"The contractors asked if I wanted stained glass, chandeliers, all these frills… I said
I just want comfortable chairs" he'd give little updates like that!

He owned a little house out in the country, drove an old car, wore an old suit… a breath of fresh air in a religion that is more and more being consumed by rampant wealth/corruption and hate.

It’s great to see these scammers exposed. It’s disgusting to see these people exploit other’s religions and faith to line their pockets it’s awful.

I once was offered a job from Kenneth Copeland Ministries as a Software Engineer to work on an Online Platform and I couldn’t help but laugh because they were offering me Half my normal rate and then suggesting that if I worked for them that God would bless me with more money. Um… aren’t YOU the one signing that check???

Why don’t they go to Hospitals to heal people? Why do they need the Lights and Cameras to be able to perform miracles? That thought struck me.

As a Christian, I’ve always avoided this. My family purposely went to smaller family churches against the mega churches in my area because we felt that it was easier to connect to people who were literally in our tax bracket. Our pastor made less than us and it was nice to see someone walk the walk. This is really disgusting!

I hate the idea of a woman dying of cancer who instead of spending money on herself or giving it to her family, donated all her money to the Church as seed money. There are so many good people that are taken advantage of in my opinion.

I really appreciate your genuine and sincere presentation. Jesus has done some wonderful things in my life. There are many prosperity and healing scriptures in the Bible and I have looked to them when I faced some serious health or financial challenges. Unfortunately, they can be exploited by some Preachers. During my healing journey I prayed and read many of these scriptures. 1 Peter 2:24 and 3 John 1:2 to name a few. I choose to look to Jesus. He is the Way. I have been healed 2.5 years now. And I thank Him every day!

To me the greatest evil one can do is take advantage of the already vulnerable.

I remember growing up - I genuinely looked up to Joel Osteen. I wrote him a letter. What I got back was a typical mock-up and a send a donation request. At the age of 9 I knew these people were charlatans.

As a Christian, I want to thank you for making this video and being so objective and respectful of Christianity as a whole. I really hope the people who need to see it find it.

Monetizing God for personal gain has to be one of the vilest things a "preacher" can do.
It breaks my heart knowing that so many have financed their Lavish Lifestyles and they live in humble abodes.

This is also a big problem in South Korea. When pastors love money and materialism, it is like flying with a blind pilot.

If you ever hear "Sow your seeds with Money" you are being scammed.

Jesse Duplantis REFUSED to preach at a Church where I live because they couldn’t pay him $20,000 to come and speak one Sunday. These people are Evil.

As a Christian myself, the prosperity gospel is definitely a problematic one. As Christians, we called, not to have riches on earth, but heavenly riches instead. We are called to help others, not profit off of them.

I go to a small church in a poor area. The minister and people there are real and I love it.

I've only ever been in a megachurch once and what sticks out to me wasn't the actual church sanctuary with the pews and worship stages, but the gigantic lobby of the megachurch. It resembled a mall food court, complete with skylights, numerous tables and chairs, gifts shops and bookstores, sandwich shops and coffee stands (all of which were staffed by unpaid volunteers) and there were ATM kiosks everywhere--but they didn't dispense any cash. They were designed solely to take donations from your debit card to the church. It was obscene, a monument to capitalism.

Copeland looked evil in that interview.

I went to a megachurch. We were young newlyweds and we didn't have much money. We had a new baby. The church wanted to build a newer, bigger sanctuary, but they wanted to pay cash. We were exhorted to tithe our gross income (so that God would give us a gross blessing), PLUS give offerings. We gave, and it was difficult. When the sanctuary was done, I was glad we could keep our money now. But then the pastor said, "Now that you know you are capable of giving, you need to keep giving at that amount". And you can be sure: the pastor and the staff all had nice homes, nice cars, nice suits, and nice things. But we felt guilty and materialistic if we spent our money on anything even halfway nice for ourselves. We were doing our shopping at thrift stores and discount groceries. That was a long time ago. We don't go to a church anymore, and our policy is not to give money to people who have MORE than us. We give our money to people who help widows and orphans in 3rd world countries. They truly do need it, and appreciate it.

The scariest thing about these Megachurches is the number of gullible people who actually make all of this possible.

These “churches” have done more harm to the church than anything else. People see the hypocrisy and it turns them away from Christ. I went to one where my nephew serves and could not leave quick enough.

What I hate about it the most, is that these churches create a bad image for actual Christianity. As a Christian myself I'm really thankful for this video James! I wish you the best!

Good documentary - I feel as a Christian the main message of Jesus is compassion, humility and self-control. I think the Bible gives ample warning of what excessive wealth can do to the inherantly vain, prideful nature of man. I'm not saying poverty is a virtue, but the lavish lifestyles of some of these Mega pastors goes far beyond any sane view of "prosperity'

As a Fundamental Baptist Preacher, I must say this video is exceptional. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate you taking the time to Dismantle these Monsters. Nothing but wolves in sheep's clothing. Everything they do is Unbiblical and Deceptive to easily influenced people. They starve people financially and spiritually all at once. If I could give my life to put them all out of work, I feel like I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I went to private school with Creflo Dollars kids and never understood how they could miss classes at a school you pay for to catch their jet to NY to go shopping. They drove expensive cars and even wrecked one on our campus just to show up with another the next day. It was insane to me that their lifestyles rivalled Musicians and Athletes, given I knew a Member of their Congregation who was 70 years old and walked 7 miles every Sunday to catch their word… All to turn around and see Creflo on the News for child abuse. Be careful who you follow.

This people are working for darkness. Take Care!

I believe in miracles. I have seen some in my own life, and I know that God can still perform His works today.
But this isn't how miracles are done. Christ's miracles didn't ask for payment.

Christ's miracles were done by people's faith in Him, not in their leaders.

Bravo James! Fantastic documentary. You’re one of the only producers who can make 30 minutes feel like 10. So glad to have you back and stronger than ever

As a Christian this makes me angry. The prosperity gospel is not Christianity. It’s a Cult.

Truly one of the best content creators of the modern generation!

Many of these pastors have been married 2 or 3 times, their adult children are divorced as well, have drug problems, etc…great expose video, I really like it. Thanks for putting this together!

This video is so well put together and you are very articulate. Thank you for putting this message out there!

You may not be aware about how many people you've helped to open their eyes and to not fall for these deceivers and false prophets, cults and scam-artists. I'm one of them. So, there is meaning to your work.

A Lifelong Christian here. I have long been skeptical of Megachurches but never before have I seen someone expose them so thoroughly. Keep up the good work James. These people give believers a bad name.

The fact these Businesses still get Tax Exemption is Crazy!

I'm not a Church person, but this phrase has always hit home for me. Don't listen to what someone says, watch what they do. What are they doing with all this money they're gathering….buying a private jet, or cleaning our rivers and saving our soil? If they're feeding our children, that's one thing. If they're only feeding themselves, well….they're a parasite, and that fruit is rotten. To the core. New subscriber, James….you're absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to watch more, keep up the awesome work!

I remember being a Kid and attending Benny Hinn crusades in the early to mid 90's. Even as a Kid I knew something wasn't right. I would always wonder why everyone else was passing out at the Crusades except me. My detector started working at a very early age, and I am glad to say that I have never fell for this type of nonsense.

This Man isn’t even a Christian and he is spitting Straight Facts. I am a Pastor and I can say that Any Faithful Christian would reject the Prosperity Gospel.

When youtubers can do better documentaries than tv shows we know there is something quite wrong with TVs and something very right with Individual Creators.

As someone who is Christian and forced to be in one of these megachurches (I'm a pastors kid and still to young to move out lol), I can confirm they know exactly what they are doing. It feels like a cult. Its just about money and any of the pastors own beliefs, it kills me since there's so many nice people i know there who genuinely believe like i do but they just donate massive amounts of money just so the top guy can spend it all on materialistic things that contribute nothing to the church.

This might be your best video yet. Amazing work!

I grew up as a child of pastors who preached the prosperity gospel. All pastors i know personally, through my parents, have terrible relationships with their children. They act as if they are superior and that if their children don’t work in the ministry these children are disappointments or even have demons. Most of these pastors are also abusive to their children. Child protective services showed up at my house at least 1 to 4 times a year till I was 18. If you want to be a good Christian donate into your Community and not into the hands of abusive money hungry men.

I do not know how people fall for these Charlatans. They're so obvious.

THIS is what using God’s name in vain is about; using God’s Name to enrich yourself at the expense of others!

This first guy is so absolutely creepy, scary and terrifying. If I ever has to imagine the devil in human form, he definitely comes close!

Hey James as a Christian I really appreciate you making this video! You did a great job covering the prosperity gospel and little god theology! Thank you for exposing these people! If you want to see a great movie on this it’s called American Gospel. Love what you do!

I was part of Hillsong church for years. I was a new Christian back then and I didn’t know any better. The amount of exploitation and abuse that goes on is mind boggling. They had us at 7am setting up auditoriums and stadiums for conferences which we then had to pay $100s to attend while the leaders were flown in on Singapore Airlines suites and staying at luxury hotels. It was drilled into us that God demanded excellence and therefore we had to give all of our time, money and strength to make sure conferences were “perfect” . It was unbelievably cliquey and toxic.

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again, why is it when these preacher's need money they ask you, but when YOU need money they tell you to "trust God."

Growing up and remaining in the Christian Church, these Churches are the ones I was warned against the most. This predatory practice is so heartbreaking to me, so many of these people truly believe that they can simply pay God off.. It hurts.

As a Christian who is not at all associated with the Prosperity Gospel, thank you for shedding light on this topic. Please know not all "religious" people are fuelled by money. I hate the Prosperity Message and the bad reputation that we get because of it. True Christian's are not like this.

As a Christian, the prosperity gospel is a false gospel, as it tricks people that if you believe Jesus, you will be full of worldly riches, which is wrong, because Jesus also said you must store up treasures in Heaven.

No joke. My wife and I were trying a new and up coming church here in my town. When the pastor said it was his Wife's Birthday and they were taking a "special" offering, WE BAILED OUT. Haven't been to a church since.

While I'm not a Christian, even I know that the Mass Accumulation of Wealth is HEAVILY frowned upon by actual Christianity. "The Meek shall inherit the Earth" and all that. One word kept running through my mind while watching this video: "Idolatry." They are not worshiping The Lord, they are worshiping Money.

JOEL OSTEEN “a Self-Help Motivation Speaker who uses God as a Proxy” Well Said!

As a Christian I abhor these False Teachers and their False Teachings, they are Heaping Up Punishment for themselves beyond what they imagine.

As a Muslim, even I know that ain't real Christianity. The fact that people believe what these 'Preachers' say and promote is from Christianity just boggles my mind.

That guy who has lots of Jets, he is inhabited by a strong demon… i could see it in his eyes when the Reporter asked him about being in a tube with demons…

Hypocrisy in the church is the reason people run away from GOD
Make no mistake about it, these guys are wolves in sheep's clothing.

I can confirm that faith healing is EXTREMELY hypnotic in its practice. Glad you brought up Derren Brown, his specials help you see right through the psychological charades that are going on. Incredible work as always James!

Fantastic video. My mother was also mislead by one of these "Faith Healers", and she felt that she did something wrong if she wasn't healed. Special place in hell for these devils.

As an Ex Scientologist of 20 years I can see a lot of parallels between this and where I came from.

As a Christian Minister the Prosperity "Gospel" disgusts me, and is NOT a true representation of true Biblical Christianity. It has unfairly given Christianity a bad name and hurt so many, I am constantly praying for those who have been affected negatively by those Crooks.

Awesome video! For many years, I was an active member of a Megachurch. What finally turned me away was realizing how the Pastor never spoke on certain subjects such as Honesty or Compassion. Too many of his sermons revolved around Money.

I recognized at a young age that there were Darker Motivations behind certain Churches and Religious Groups. It caused me to distance myself from Faith for a long time. Nowadays I’ve learned to reconnect with my Spiritual Beliefs… I don’t need Church to be One with God. Love and Prayer do just fine.

These so-called Celebrity Preachers will hear the words, 'Depart from Me you worker of Iniquity, I never knew you'.

This makes me sad….people, you've got to get back to reading the Bible. Just because they are Pastors, does not mean they are All Saved.

I wish I could send this to my Grandma, she's a huge Joel Osteen Fan.

These men and women know exactly what they're doing, because they wouldn't be so furious when called out on it. Or would they change their preaching, their tailor-made doctrine, to suit their needs when they come under controversy. And they do. They do so quickly and without mercy and falsely lead their congregation in that way, too.

As a Christian i am heartbroken about the reproach these False Teachers bring to the Name of our Precious Lord - JESUS.

My uncle was “healed” by BH of congestive heart failure. So convinced was he, he quit taking his meds and stopped all conventional medicine. He died of a massive heart attack a couple months later. These charlatans need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for practicing medicine without a license.

Poor people are just blinded by trauma and desperate situations. And what do they get? Yeah. Even more debt.

I grew up in The World Wide Church of God. My parents (along with everyone else) gave 20% of their income to the church. We were poor while the Ministers were not. When I was 6, I knew this was messed up.

This was so well done. As a Christian I just want to thank you for differentiating this from what the Bible actually teaches and how a lot of Christians try to live. It’s so sad to see how many people are deceived and manipulated by this.

Throughout my childhood my family went to what was at the time a pretty small community oriented church that we were all heavily involved in, and watching that church grow into something resembling these mega churches and losing focus of the purpose and the people was honestly heartbreaking. Since then we moved to a smaller local church that we know pretty much everyone in now and it is way better.

Thank you for being respectful of our Faith while your still speaking truth. You’re exactly right in all of this. These preachers are just a different breed of the “brood of vipers” Jesus talked about.

I've never been a Christian but even a quick google search lends tonnes of delicious Bible Quotes completely condemning what these Preachers do.

The sad part is that many so-called Christians will see this and still give their last money to those demons . Unbelievable.

I almost fell into this. Then I went to come to the front of the church and give myself to God. Thinking I was going to get actual support. No. They just wanted my Number and Name, NO other question, just sent me on my way. So then I thought to myself what was the point? The Preacher didn't even get to know the New Members. Even a Gym does that. I still believe in God, but that's not God.

My mother has been religious my whole life and I remember the "tithings" nearly destroying our lives because she was so desperate for a miracle during the 2008 recession. she kept giving so much money to the Church and hoping it would come back to us in some way, but it never did, it just drained her bank account. Absolutely Evil what these Televangelists do to manipulate their congregation during hard times.

As a struggling Christian, at first I was thinking "Oh Man, I probably don't need to see this video" At the end I was glad I watched it. My struggle has never been in doubting Jesus and what he can do, my struggle has always been in dealing with the Church and other Christians. This Video kind of helped me understand why. Thanks.

Very well done. When I tell my friends and family about this, and have been doing so for years. I don’t remember Jesus in a Private Jet. He walked from town to town preaching and he lived very modest

As a Christian, thanks so much for this video. These churches are mostly associated with the USA but organisations like Hillsong are setting up everywhere. One branch is near me in the UK and its members act like they are in a cult. It's not Jesus saved me, it's this specific church did. They aren't concerned with deepening your walk with Christ only bringing in new members constantly, meaning more money.
They will often treat members who question the leaders very harshly. God bless everyone reading this, hopefully God will continue to expose false teachers and teachings. A lot of people are walking away after some scandals this year.

I live in Houston, and when hurricane Harvey, one of the worst natural disasters on record hit, Joel Osteen refused to open his church as a shelter for the thousands of desperate people because he didn't want his Carpeting to be ruined. After he was confronted about it by local news stations, he opened his church to victims. So gross.

This is a very informative video.. I am a Christian and I'm in agreement with a lot of the things you mentioned here, you weren't in anyway attacking the Christian Faith like most people do but pointing out the Weeds that claim to be of the Faith but just want to line their own pockets. Thank you. This is eye opening. God bless you.

As a Christian, this kind of teaching makes me feel SICK. This is not Biblical. This is Insanity.

I donate directly to the Streets and pray alone. I've always been in the Right Place at the Right Time to help someone for some reason, no middleman was ever needed.

I had a girlfriend when I was a kid whose family were devout Evangelicals. I went to a "camp-out" with them. We sat through endless hours of church services and every one of the preachers begged for money. It was pathetic.

Kenneth Copeland looks exactly like what I'd imagine a demon masquerading as a human would look like. Terribly Creepy.

My grandma took me to a Benny Hinn revival when I was about 8 and I went up to the stage and when he put his hand on me I didn’t actually feel anything I just fell back cause everyone else was doing it and that’s when I started to question TBN and the like.

That is really worth watching, yeah beware of Mega Churches

The video of Kenneth Copeland being confronted by the Reporter asking about his Planes is chilling. I’ve seen it before and it really hit me then too. A friend of our family, a retired woman living on a Pension, was a follower of his and when I expressed my concerns about her sending him money years ago, she became very angry and our friendship was strained after that. She has moved away and I haven’t seen her in years. I pray she’s okay and has seen the light about all these prosperity preachers.

As a Christian, it pains me to see the Word of God being used in such disgusting ways and exploiting people and making them feel they are at fault when something they heard doesn't happen for them.

It's disgusting the path churches have gone…..that's why i consider myself a Believer not a Christian.

These people are predators, manipulators, and sociopath's. Not only that, but they prey on the most vulnerable of society, children, the elderly, and the sick.

Brilliant documentary! This tragedy called "Prosperity Theology" has spread all over the world. Here in Brazil, we have incredibly Wealthy Pastors, despite an increasingly poor population (more than 67 million Brazilians live below the poverty line). We have countless Neo-Pentecostal denominations, all hungry for the tithes and offerings of the poor. They have Exploited this Country!

Thanks James for this video. As a Christian, it disgusts me to see how manipulative people can be to gain a dollar. The Bible teaches to serve your neighbor and give to others. Jesus didn't even have a home to call his own. He cleaned the feat of his disciples to show them how they should treat others. A very demeaning action in that culture. He wanted to show them that living as a Christian is not to gain a higher place in Life or Heaven but to serve others and extend the Love of God through service.

Make no mistake, a lot of these 'Righteous" Scammers know Exactly what they're doing.

In my late teens until my mid thirties, I’ve suffered from depression. All because I believed these preachers were from God, and I hate the hypocrisy I saw in them.

This is what kept me away from Christianity originally and it’s sad. If it weren’t for their greed a lot more people might be able to approach Christianity in a more honest way.

Many of these pastors have been married 2 or 3 times, their adult children are divorced as well, have drug problems, etc…great expose video, I really liked it. Thanks for putting this together!

This is so true. I felt like everyone is just using religion right now to become wealthy.

As a Christian I absolutely love this!! This is an amazing documentary.

We need to start taxing these churches assets and only give them tax breaks when they donate to the poor or have programs that actually help the poor. Why should the leaders be multi millionaires off the backs of their congregation!

Great documentary! I’m a Christian, but I’ve always thought these preacher’s theology are insane. Thank you for exposing them and providing evidence to show us what is really happening behind the scenes.

As many other Christians have said here already, thank you James for this. You exposed the monsters but also showed that there are Christians who care about Jesus' real work and who fight against deceptions like the prosperity gospel, which is no gospel at all.

This actually made me cry. I can't believe Evil like this exists in the world especially in churches. That's why I humbly live a middle-class life and wish not to be Wealthy. But only rich in the Word of God and keeping it.

“It is written 'My house will be called a House of Prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a Den of Thieves.’”

They sound extremely similar with MLMs. bragging about luxury cars, expensive life style, etc.

Losing my Mom with cancer showed me the light with Prosperity Gospel. She loved Copeland and these other Prosperity Preachers and made me watch them. I in turn watched Osteen every Sunday. I believed in all their messages and followed their words and tithes to their churches, had their books.

I'm a Christian, and was once one of those sitting on those chairs, shouting Amen to all what the preacher was saying. But the more I read my Bible, the more I saw the contradictions of the preacher's words to GOD's word, and the more my eyes opened. Glory be to JESUS-CHRIST, today I'm free from those deceptions.

As someone who attended a University owned by David Oyedepo Ministries, I have to say it's staggering watching this. We looked up to men like Copeland and Osteen as mentors. I constantly wonder how on earth we believed that.

I always come across videos like this when I need it the most! I gave up on the church because even as a child I never understood why I had to give money to worship it seemed like a fear tactic. I sadly let that turn me away from the Bible and in a confused state, and now I realize a personal relationship with God is what is needed.
