These are stressful days we are living in – there’s no doubt about that – and many people are becoming “Needs-Orientated” because they don’t have managing skills. These are Life Skills we all need to develop and some mistakenly expect others to have these Life Skills for them. Or worse still, they want to constantly Off-Load their problems on others as their way of coping or complaining about life and that is SIMPLY UNFAIR.

You have come to the right place if you have problematic friendships. I’ve had a few and I found what to do. Of necessity, it was a real awakening in recent years.

Because I was far too Caring, I did not “practice the Principles I needed to” for my sanity (so to speak) and Peace of Mind. Looking back now, that so sapped up my energies, I’ve not been able to do some things I had planned to do because my energies were somewhat drained. They called themselves Friends but they needed a good spanking – they did not take responsibility for mistakes they were making and leaned much of their weight on me!…

So The Positive Is That Letting Go Of Unforgiveness Can Bring Healing And Sometimes Peace, Letting Go Of Anger Can Restore Your Joy Or Even Relieve Depression, Letting Go Of Resentment Has Been Known To Ease Symptoms Of Arthritis Etc. An interesting question. I remember standing at a Bakery counter about 20 years ago when I bought a quiche as did someone next to me. We asked for a little salt to be sprinkled on them and the reply was, they can't do that, they don't have any salt shaker in the place and they don't use salt. Talk about extremists, they were determining what we could or could not do, based on medical blurb I call paranoia.

At that time, "No Salt" was being promoted - many people joined in the craze and some Cafes weren't placing salt shakers on their tables anymore. Being a Researcher, I commented to the other person that I had worked out about 10 things that can go wrong with our health if we don't have salt in our diet, some weeks before and listed them by memory to her. 5 related to Sodium deficiency and 5 related to Chloride deficiency. Imagine, no salt with egg? Yuck!

I've heard and read the other side of the argument that made some sense to me 1. that certain foods have some naturally occurring Sodium in them but who has those every day?…

Real Foods and Moderate Exercise are the BEST way to Slim and to Maintain GOOD HEALTH. Be aware that Low Fat Diets and Artificial Sweeteners are damaging. So is Strenuous Exercise – they will not help you!

Truth of the matter is, you would be far better following a few IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES, knowing what to AVOID and trying some GOOD NUTRITIOUS Dieting, than all the Fad Diets out there. Especially Chemist and Supermarket brands. Most Slimming Diets are Gimmicky – they are flawed and Cleverly Marketed through the POWER OF PERSUASION. Sometimes there is a Diet that worked for SOME PEOPLE who really gave it their Best Effort and things worked In Their Favour. Those Weight Loss Programs have a Principle of some kind working for them, not everyone responds to and they are very expensive.

The companies are happy to show you Before and After photos and tell you it works for everyone, which is a Lie of-course because different things work for different people and results vary with the individual. No-one’s bio-chemistry is the same but they are happy to tell you “Our Product Will Work For You”…… that my friend is Commercialism (enterprise for your dollar).…

THESE ARE GOOD QUALITIES TO QUIZ OURSELVES ON AND PRACTICE. ALSO TO BRING OUR KIDS UP WITH. WE ARE LIVING IN A 2ND AND 3RD GENERATION OF BUSY WORKING PARENTS - MANY OF US HAVE MISSED OUT ON HAVING PARENTS WHO EXPRESSED THEMSELVES LIKE THIS WITH US. Welp, after what felt like the longest year ever, it's 2021. And with the new year often comes resolutions — maybe more so this time round.

A substantial chunk of daily life is made up of habitual actions. This is the stuff where once you get going, you pretty much run on autopilot.

A classic example is driving to work (back when regular commuting was a thing). You might remember getting in your car and then suddenly, you're pulling into your office's car park.

But the first few times you drove to work were a different story. They required more brain power: planning and memorising the best route to your destination, paying attention to your surroundings and thinking harder about your actions and their consequences.…

SIMPLE WAYS TO REMEMBER THINGS

Think of something (that only) for 8 seconds, nothing else………this will place it in your memory. Especially if you do this a few times in the same day and recall it each day for a few days…….this will help to set it.

If you want to remember names, each time you meet someone, ask their name and address them by their name 4-5 times in the conversation and you will more readily remember it – especially if you recall it later in the day and the next day and the next few days.…

CSIRO Scientists Discover How To Grow Coloured Cotton, Removing Need For Harmful Chemical Dyes

A few dozen petri dishes in a high-tech greenhouse in Canberra hold the potential to transform the global textiles industry. They contain plant tissue, which within days will grow into cotton plants: not standard, everyday white cotton, but ones with a dazzling array of colours.

They are the product of CSIRO plant breeders dedicated to producing better, sustainable natural fibres that will hopefully one day lead to wrinkle-free, naturally dyed, stretchy cotton to outperform synthetic fabrics.

Colleen MacMillan leads the team of scientists who have cracked cotton's molecular colour code, adding genes to make the plants produce a colour.

"Having the cotton produce its own colour is a game changer," Dr MacMillan said.

"We've seen some really beautiful bright yellows, sort of golden-orangey colours, through to some really deep purple," fellow scientist Filomena Pettolino said.…
