An interesting question. I remember standing at a Bakery counter about 20 years ago when I bought a quiche as did someone next to me. We asked for a little salt to be sprinkled on them and the reply was, they can't do that, they don't have any salt shaker in the place and they don't use salt. Talk about extremists, they were determining what we could or could not do, based on medical blurb I call paranoia.

At that time, "No Salt" was being promoted - many people joined in the craze and some Cafes weren't placing salt shakers on their tables anymore. Being a Researcher, I commented to the other person that I had worked out about 10 things that can go wrong with our health if we don't have salt in our diet, some weeks before and listed them by memory to her. 5 related to Sodium deficiency and 5 related to Chloride deficiency. Imagine, no salt with egg? Yuck!

I've heard and read the other side of the argument that made some sense to me 1. that certain foods have some naturally occurring Sodium in them but who has those every day?…

Real Foods and Moderate Exercise are the BEST way to Slim and to Maintain GOOD HEALTH. Be aware that Low Fat Diets and Artificial Sweeteners are damaging. So is Strenuous Exercise – they will not help you!

Truth of the matter is, you would be far better following a few IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES, knowing what to AVOID and trying some GOOD NUTRITIOUS Dieting, than all the Fad Diets out there. Especially Chemist and Supermarket brands. Most Slimming Diets are Gimmicky – they are flawed and Cleverly Marketed through the POWER OF PERSUASION. Sometimes there is a Diet that worked for SOME PEOPLE who really gave it their Best Effort and things worked In Their Favour. Those Weight Loss Programs have a Principle of some kind working for them, not everyone responds to and they are very expensive.

The companies are happy to show you Before and After photos and tell you it works for everyone, which is a Lie of-course because different things work for different people and results vary with the individual. No-one’s bio-chemistry is the same but they are happy to tell you “Our Product Will Work For You”…… that my friend is Commercialism (enterprise for your dollar).…

Janet Vargas - Independent Natural Health Researcher

What people don't realize most times is ever since Big Pharma started to gain ground in the 1850s, their intention always is to gain more ground, and they don't care what lengths they have to go to, to gain ever-increasingly more and more ground - like Coca Cola! They are controlled by an insatiable spirit of greed. They have a strong influence on Governments in Western Countries like the USA and Australia because they bring in more revenue than almost anything else.

The FDA in America has been found to be corrupt in what they allow on the market (so many dangerous Medical Drugs affecting millions across the world daily) and what they don't allow (so many natural cures have had to go underground or completely banned). The TGA in Australia strongly favours the Medical establishment over the Natural Health Profession because of the Revenue factor. In Europe, you find that they practice mostly Natural Medicine over there and some of the Islands, where everything's natural, they experience better health. Sometimes there are certain health conditions we experience, don't even exist in their populations.…

IN THE INTEREST OF SAFER DRIVING AND SPARING UNNECESARY EXPENSES, I AM PLACING THIS ARTICLE IN MY BLOG. SOME OF THESE FINES ARE VERY HIGH (You Would Not Expect).

As speeding, drink driving, and drugs dominate road safety headlines, it’s worth getting reacquainted with some fines you may not know – or might have forgotten about.

Fines and demerit points vary across different states and territories – even though they have the same or similar offences – so we listed the penalties for NSW, the jurisdiction which hands out among the harshest fines in the nation (with the exception of Queensland’s $1000 mobile phone ticket, the most expensive nationally).

No matter where you’re holidaying in Australia, we hope you make it home safely. For those in a passenger seat, here’s some trivia to break the boredom of the long journey.

Fail to stop at orange light: $464 and three points

Many motorists mistakenly believe it’s ok to drive through an orange or amber traffic light, and it’s only red lights we need to worry about. Not true. And we wish authorities did more to educate the motoring public about this little-known rule.

The orange light is intended to give drivers time to stop before the traffic signal changes to red.…

Acceptance, everyone needs it. We are all wired for love, acceptance and approval. We all have those rights, some of us are conscious of those needs being met, others are not – it depends on our upbringing, how our emotions were formed, if our basic needs for affection and attention were met. However, there are things we can do.

Learning to develop a loving disposition towards ourselves in life is important these days rather than seeking validation from those who may not give it or fail to give it. Not everyone is inclined to give validation to others, some don’t think to express that. Often their thoughts are somewhere else (for whatever reason, it is not necessarily intentional) they may be thinking of what they have to say and fail to be attune to who they are conversing with half the time, and believe it or not, they may be concerned with finding their own validation sometimes.

Many people have a Co-Dependent relationship where they seek validation constantly from each-other, not often finding it – that can be a constant source of frustration.

For those who have not heard of this term before, validation is basically approval from others.…

I JUST LOVE THIS STORY AND KNOW MANY OF MY VISITORS WILL TOO.

Visiting loved ones during the pandemic has become a daunting task.

Even so, when 10-year-old Romeo Cox decided what he wanted more than anything else was a hug from his 77-year-old grandmother, he didn’t let a few little bumps in the road—like quarantine, or that she was 1,700 miles away and there were no flights from his new home in Sicily to his native U.K.—stop him from making the journey.

“I hadn’t seen Granny for a year and a half, so [during lockdown] I planned in secret to go see her,” he said in an interview with The Times of London.

Romeo’s parents took some convincing, but Romeo finally talked them into letting him make the trip. “I asked my parents and they said no more than 50 times,” he told The Daily Mail.

“Eventually they agreed—provided we planned everything was Covid-safe.”

With his folks’ blessing, Romeo turned his plans into action. “I drew a map. I would walk and take boats and do it naturally to help the planet,” he told the Times.…

HAS ANYONE OUT THERE NOTICED THAT CERTAIN SITUATION OR RELATIONAL THOUGHTS HAVE A LIFESPAN OF 2-3 DAYS BEFORE THEY WEAR OFF AND GIVE US SOME PEACE? I HAVE SOMETIMES THROUGH THE YEARS. AND WHEN YOU'RE AWARE OF THIS, YOU CAN BIDE YOUR TIME AND RELAX, KNOWING MOST TIMES, IT WILL GO AWAY OF IT'S OWN ACCORD IF WE DON'T INDULGE IN THOSE THOUGHTS AND TIE OURSELVES UP IN KNOTS. IT'S HELPFUL TO KNOW HOW SHORT THE LIFE-SPAN OF THOSE THOUGHTS (like an obsession) WILL BE. ALSO, YOU CAN FIND WAYS OF DEALING WITH BOTHERSOME THOUGHTS (on a certain day) RIGHT HERE. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THESE AND WILL SHOW YOU WHAT I FOUND.

Ways To Let Go Of Stuck Thoughts

By Therese J. Borchard  from Psychcentral.Com

Stuck thoughts… the brick walls that form a prison around your mind. The harder you try to get rid of them, the more powerful they become.

I’ve been wrestling with stuck thoughts ever since I was in fourth grade. The content or nature of the obsessions have morphed into many different animals over the course of 30-plus years, but their intensity and frequency remains unchanged.

Here are some strategies I use when they make a surprise visit, techniques that help me free myself from their hold.…

THESE ARE GOOD QUALITIES TO QUIZ OURSELVES ON AND PRACTICE. ALSO TO BRING OUR KIDS UP WITH. WE ARE LIVING IN A 2ND AND 3RD GENERATION OF BUSY WORKING PARENTS - MANY OF US HAVE MISSED OUT ON HAVING PARENTS WHO EXPRESSED THEMSELVES LIKE THIS WITH US. AND MAYBE WE HAVE NOT THOUGHT OF INSTILLING THESE PRINCIPLES INTO OUR KIDS. AS THE ADAGE SAYS "BETTER LATE THAN NEVER'' FOR US ALL TO EXPERIENCE THESE PRECIOUS TRAITS. THEY ARE GOOD WAYS TO EXPERIENCE GOOD QUALITY FRIENDSHIPS TOO.

It's Cool To Be Kind - Refresh Someone's Spirit Today - Surprise Yourself, Hey?

I JUST LOVE THIS ARTICLE AND WOULD LIKE TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ IT
AND SELECT A FEW THINGS TO TRY, HEY?

Almost everyone in this world likes to be in the company of a nice person. Nice people are a joy to be around, they inspire others and make the people they are with feel good about themselves. People who are nice have good friends.

Be Punctual
Being punctual for an appointment is one important way to be a nicer person. It demonstrates to the other person that you have respect for his or her time.…

I knew someone who has experienced this with someone at her church for some time believe it or not. There are a few gossips and busybodies there too. It is evident to me that none of these offenders have a real relationship with Jesus – to be acquainted with Him is reflected in love for others and appropriate conduct. If someone has unseemly behavior, something is wrong – sometimes you have to ask yourself if they really know Jesus? Maybe not!

The Following Advice "in quotation marks" is from James George (The rest is from me) He is a caring person with some good insights.

"No matter what we do in life, there can be someone at some stage who has something negative to say but some people like to tear others down, not just you – please remember this. Sometimes they find every fault that you have and exploit it to make you feel bad about yourself. They want to demolish someone’s confidence. It’s frustrating to hurt your feelings and it makes you feel like you’re insignificant. So why does this happen? Why do people feel like they have to tear others down and make them feel bad?"…
