Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) A Deliberate Form Of Psychological Programming Which Has It’s Roots In The Trade Of Hypnotism Which Is A Form Of Mind Control Rather Than Psychology, Is Something We Should All Be Aware Of And How To AVOID IT. “What Does This Have To Do With Me?” You May Ask. If You  Need To Buy White Goods And Furnishings, Computers Or Sound Systems, A House Or Car, Make Investment Decisions, If You’re Considering Purchasing A Product Over The Internet – Especially An Information Product, A Sign Up Of Some Kind (That’s Irresistible Whatever) You’re Interested In Infomercials……YES IT DOES!

Today, I’ve been doing more research on Memory Skills and I came across a book by someone who was Dyslexic and managed to generate an interest in reading – he determined he did not want to seem dumb anymore, he went and purchased a few books on memory and that led to other things. His story sounded interesting and a few of his tips very good. So happens, he has read many self-improvement books and learnt different skills. Then there was some mention about NLP on the sales page and instinctively I backed off.…

IN ADDITION TO THEIR PRINCIPLE OF PRODUCING AND MAINTAINING TOP QUALITY WINE, I HAVE DONE CONSIDERABLE RESEARCH ON THE LIKES OF MONSANTO - THEY ARE VERY SHADY, TO SAY THE LEAST. I WILL PLACE LINKS TO TWO OF MY WEBSITES IN SUPPORT TO DECISIONS LIKE THIS. THE SA GOVERNMENT DID NOT DO THEIR HOMEWORK PROPERLY CONCERNING THEIR DECISION TO ALLOW GMO CROPS INTO THE STATE. THERE ARE REAL FACTORS, I BELIEVE, THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF TO APPROVE SUCH A THING! THE MCLARENVALE WINE REGION HAS SOME SMART DECISION MAKERS - IT IS WISE TO DO DUE DILIGENCE IN SUCH MATTERS AND I WOULD LIKE TO APPLAUD THEM WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

Key SA Wine Region Leads Push To Remain GM-Free

From Indaily.Com.Au

South Australia’s largest council is poised to be the first to ask permission to ban genetically modified crops from its borders following a push from McLaren Vale’s wine industry, which says the lifting of a moratorium will cost the region millions.

Onkaparinga councillors will decide tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 15) if they will ask for the district to be given non-GM crop designation following months of public consultation.

Legislation lifting a 16 Year Ban on Genetically Modified Crops in SA was passed by state parliament in May.…

SO MUCH COULD BE SAID CONCERNING THE AVALANCHE OF PLASTIC WASTE FROM TAKEAWAY SHOPS THAT ENDS UP ON OUR BEACHES, IN PARKS AND OTHER PLACES, IN AUSTRALIA AND MUCH OF IT IS SINGLE USE PLASTICS. NOW THE SA GOVERNMENT IS STARTING TO STEP IN ON THAT, TO PROTECT OUR OCEAN AND AREAS FROM UNNECESSARY LANDFILL.

South Australia Becomes First State In The Country To Ban Single-Use Plastics

The South Australian parliament has passed laws banning single-use plastics but the measures will be delayed until next year because of COVID-19.

South Australia has become the first state in Australia to ban single-use plastics such as straws and cutlery.

But the introduction of the new laws will be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The measures were passed in parliament on Wednesday and also allow for other items to be progressively added to the banned list.

"There has been significant community and industry support for swift action on single-use plastic products with many households and businesses across the state already taking steps to remove them," Environment Minister David Speirs said.

"Our legislation at first bans single-use plastic items like straws, cutlery and beverage stirrers and outlines a framework for adding more items in the future.…

A Tasmanian farmer has earned a firm ticking-off from France after suggesting people could make their excess rhubarb into champagne.

Guy Robertson from Penguin, in the state’s north-west, has turned his business over to deliveries after losing all of almost his usual sales at traditional farmers’ markets and festivals, restaurants and in on-farm experiences overnight because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“The first week was the sleepless week,” Mr Robertson said.

“Then we realised we could put everything online.”

The Mount Gnomon Farm website was born – and Mr Robertson is now busy selling meat, vegetables, and fruit online, as well as products from other local artisan producers.

But it was a post on social media that landed him in hot water with the French. He has been including in-season rhubarb in his produce boxes, and suggested anyone who had too much should treat themselves, as he had, by brewing some homemade rhubarb bubbly, which he termed champagne.

A couple of days later, he answered the phone to a French official.

“In the middle of deliveries I received a phone call from a gentleman in France with the threat of legal action about the farm’s production of rhubarb champagne,” Mr Robertson wrote in a Facebook post.…

The Royal Australian Mint has unveiled a new dollar coin that is designed to be donated to charities – and 3 million have already been released into circulation.

The Mint unveiled the Donation Dollar as part of a world-first donation initiative. While the dollar is legal tender, the Mint is encouraging Aussies to use it wherever cash donations are accepted to help people or organisations that are in need.

Proud To Be Australian!

Each of these coins feature the call to action “Give to Help Others”. There’s also a green centre with a gold ripple design, which represents the ongoing impact each donation makes to those in need. According to the Mint, three in five Australians said they would be likely to donate this coin if they saw it among their change.

The first lot of three million coins has been released into circulation, with millions more to be released in the coming years. If every Australian donated one of these dollars, it could possibly raise an extra $300 million a year for those who are disadvantaged.

The Australian Generosity Report found one in five Australians said they’ll need some level of aid over the next 12 months, either for themselves or for their family.…

IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING HAVING A BUNNY FOR A PET OR ALREADY HAVE ONE, IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THESE THINGS. BUNNIES HAVE A LANGUAGE OF THEIR OWN, JUST LIKE WE DO, AND OTHER CREATURES.

THIS POST WILL HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE LITTLE MOVEMENTS THEY MAKE - HOW TO INTERPRET THEM AND ALSO DESCRIBES THEIR MEMORIES. BUNNIES HAVE GOOD MEMORIES, SO WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL. READING THESE TWO ARTICLES FROM Petsial.Com WILL HELP YOU RELATE AND BOND WITH YOUR BUNNY/BUNNIES. THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT TO PUPPIES AND KITTENS - BUNNY BONDING IS SO IMPORTANT, THEY CAN LEARN TO TRUST YOU BETTER WHEN YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO THEIR NEEDS.

Ways to Speak Rabbit and Communicate with Your Bunny

For the sake of this post, keep in mind that we are focused on reading your rabbits language and signs that they are showing you or trying to communicate.

The Importance of Bunny Communication

Recognizing these signals and communications from your rabbit is 100% necessary and an obligation of yours and yours only.

Bunnies are extremely social and have basic needs as we do.

Ignoring specific signals or behaviors may leave your bunny feeling neglected or not loved.…

YES THIS HAS TO BE GOOD NEWS HEY? INSTEAD OF THROWING SO MUCH PLASTIC INTO OUR PRECIOUS OCEAN WATER, LET'S RUN WITH THIS! RECENTLY, WE CAME UP WITH A MARVELOUS WAY TO USE GLASS BOTTLES INSTEAD OF DISPENSING OF THEM AND NOW THE USA HAS COME UP WITH A GREAT IDEA FOR PET PLASTIC BOTTLES. BRAVO!

Hopefully This Catches On In Australia. We Now Have Concrete Bricks Made With A Composition Of Recycled Glass Bottles. Maybe Our Countries Should Negotiate With These Inventions Hey?

Engineering professors and students at the University of California – Riverside have demonstrated a method they hope could “solve two of Earth’s biggest problems in one stroke” – recycling plastic waste such as plastic bottles into a nanomaterial useable in batteries.

As battery storage becomes an ever more present necessity – used in large-scale energy storage projects through to electric vehicles – sourcing materials traditionally necessary to make batteries are straining, and more sustainable alternatives are necessary.

Transforming PET Plastic Bottles Into Energy - Protecting Oceans

Two engineering professors at the University of California Riverside, Mihri and Cengiz Ozkan, have been working with their students to create improved energy storage materials from a range of sources, trying everything from glass bottles to beach sand, Silly Putty to portabello mushrooms.…

NOT EVERYONE CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS AT THE PRESENT TIME, BUT FOR THOSE WHO CAN, WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY? AND THIS WILL BE SOMETHING SOME OF US CAN LOOK FORWARD TO, HEY? CAMPING IS A FAVORITE TO MANY AND A NICE DISCOVERY IF YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED IT.

Camping Has the Power to Reset Our Internal Clocks

For diehard campers, no one needs to tell them how beneficial sleeping underneath the stars can be. The combination of peaceful tranquility, fresh air and connection with nature is enough to cure the effects of the 9-5. New research is backing up this intuition, suggesting that taking a time out from our busy, technology-soaked lives can help reset our internal clocks so we can literally rest more easily.

Researchers from the University of Colorado in Boulder set out on a six day camping trip in the Rocky Mountains, sans smartphones and any other illuminating tools. For the duration of the trip, the campers only utilized daylight and the glow of their campfire. The result was the group going to sleep an average of two and a half hours earlier than they would at home and getting ten hours of sleep each night.…

The Simple Thing That Makes the Happiest People in the World So Happy
By Eric Barker

Research has found many things you can do to increase happiness.

Of course, you’re probably not doing any of them. To be fair, most people don’t really do much to deliberately make their lives happier.

Via 100 Simple Secrets of the Best Half of Life:

Researchers found that the majority of the subjects they studied were not able to identify anything they had done recently to try to increase their happiness or life satisfaction.…

People in their golden years have lived through a lot of difficult times. Most remember the six grueling years of World War II, and the rejoicing 75 years ago today when the Nazis surrendered.

People made sacrifices—and weddings were postponed.

Lucille Ellson of Orlando knows a lot of people are in a panic about their weddings, and sees parallels between today and WW II, especially: She was supposed to be married in 1942, but then came the attack on Pearl Harbor and her fiancé enlisted to fight. Their marriage would have to wait.…
