Did you know that about 90% of us procrastinate in some way/ways? Yes it’s true, so don’t feel alone anymore. Busy people, sad or confused, stressed and anxious, over-committed….not just lazy people. Your health may not be the best, you may lack motivation for some reason, maybe you have an overcrowded lifestyle?

"Can I Beat It?" Yes You Can!

But you want to get somewhere, that’s why you’re reading this Page. You are to be commended for that because in some way, you don’t want to settle for the status quo.

I’m happily single and I can live on air when making or editing websites. I have six of them and they keep me busy. When I’m working by inspiration or a task is at hand, I can go for hours without a meal and not miss food until I take it too far – my stomach will say “feed me”....I know better as a researcher. Things can mount up, waiting for me to do them, sometimes for days. I’m a spontaneous person and have decided to take on some organizational skills.…

I've had one of these for 10 - 12 years to restructure Water - making it soft and light and smooth, when placing a glass or jug or bottle of water on it for 30-40mins. A nifty little invention by a Joann Grander, a Naturalist in Hungary. Europeans have a real love and appreciation for Nature and Natural. Now there is a bigger board to place my Fruit and Veggies on for 30 mins before preparing meals.

It seems to have a Beneficial IONS affect on them that makes a difference to the taste of them and the quality of a glass or canter of wine placed on it (just like the water). I'm so delighted with the Revitalising Board, I'm about to have a Grander Home System laid on to the mains, so I can bath in this water, place some in the birdbath and water my plants with it - being a good accompaniment to organic fertilisers. I've just been sharing about these things with a friend who asked me "what I'm up to"........ she loved hearing all about it and it occurred to me, I really should let my Readers know also.…

It's Alright To Say "NO..."
You Don't Have To Do Everything.

We all know that community is important for mental health, but what happens when people demand too much from us? How do we know when and how to say no before we feel drained and burnout?

As I discuss in this week’s podcast with Dr. Henry Cloud, acclaimed leadership expert, bestselling author and psychologist, boundaries are as important as community when it comes to our mental health. It is not selfish to say no or give ourselves a break.

We all need space, or what Dr. Cloud calls “property lines”, in our relationships. These lines set healthy limits in a friendship, and make sure people don’t throw their “trash” into your yard (figuratively speaking) or try control what you do and how you live. These are not walls: they are permeable. Ideally, we open our boundaries to let in good relationships, but we close them to keep out to threats and danger.

But, you may ask, what can you do when you feel obligated to say “yes” all the time and let people in all the time?…

Fill Those Nail Holes With A Bar Of Soap

This is also going to do the trick if you need to cover the holes on the walls. You can do this instead of a crayon. You can grab a regular white bar of soap and rub it over the hole in a clockwise motion. It is not a big deal if you leave soap residue since a warm damp towel will take care of that.…

I WAS BROUGHT UP IN A COUNTRY TOWNSHIP NOT FAR FROM THE BEACH AND PLAYED OUTSIDE A LOT. MANY KIDS ARE BROUGHT UP HAVING CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE SOIL BECAUSE THEIR FAMILY HAS A VEGGIE GARDEN OR THEY LIVE ON A FARM. HEALTH SCIENTISTS ARE SAYING THIS GIVES CHILDREN A GOOD HEALTHY START IN LIFE AND BENEFITS THEIR IMMUNE SYSTEM. THEY’RE ALSO SAYING THAT KEEPING YOUR CHILDREN AND HOUSE SO CLEAN AND OVERUSE OF DISINFECTANTS IS NOT GOOD FOR THEIR HEALTH.

Are You Overly Careful How Your Kids Play?

Some Thoughtful Considerations.

Dr. Muneer specializes in Pediatrics, lets see what she has to say.

Picture this: A baby’s pacifier falls to the ground. A first-time mom sterilizes it thoroughly before giving it back. With her second baby, she quickly runs it under some water first. By her third child, the mom brushes it off and pops it right back into her baby’s mouth. Was her third child any worse for the wear?

We spend a lot of time and energy protecting our babies and kids from germs. But some germs could actually help protect them.

Our health is influenced by all the microorganisms inside our bodies and the surrounding environment.…

“Happier Moms Raising Happier Families”

THIS MUM HAS SOME REAL INSIGHTS WITH KIDS, SHE LEARNED AS A PARENT. SHE MADE HER SHARE OF MISTAKES LIKE MOST PARENTS AND CAME UP WITH THESE PRECIOUS PRINCIPLES WHEN PRACTICED, CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE - OUR KIDS ARE HAPPIER AND WELL ADJUSTED. CHILDREN DESERVE A BETTER START IN LIFE THAN THEY'RE GETTING OFTEN THESE DAYS. BRANDI'S ARTICLE SHOULD HELP MANY OF MY READERS TO BECOME WISER PARENTS WITH THANKFUL KIDS WHEN THEY GROW UP, REMEMBERING THEY BECAME SO MUCH HAPPIER WHEN THEIR UNSPOKEN NEEDS WERE MET. I WISH EVERYONE WELL.

There are some things our kids don’t always tell us. Things they should but don’t have the capacity to find the words. Or they just have no idea how to tell you. These are things they desperately need us to do for them, that often times go unmet.

These are the things that children wish their parents knew, so we could easily be equipped to meet their unsaid needs.

This is a sticky situation for both the kids who need them and the parents who unknowingly fail to deliver.…

That lifestyle is what drew us here. We wanted to provide a different type of upbringing for our three young girls: one that focused on adventurous time spent in nature. So for the past two years we’ve been committed to finding fun and imaginative ways to spend as much time as possible out in nature. Over time we’ve grown from a family that considered a trip to a local park an adventure, to one that hikes and camps, fishes and skis.

We’ve grown closer as a family as we’ve grown to embrace our new lifestyle. And our difficult daughter? Well, we still have our moments, but almost never outside.

At first we didn’t know exactly why we wanted to raise outdoor loving kids – it just instinctively seemed like a good idea. If we did have a specific motivation, it was the hope that by starting them early our girls would grow up physically strong and healthy, and with a lifelong love for outdoor activity. Over time we’ve come to learn that the emotional benefits of more time in nature probably outweigh the physical ones.

BENEFITS OF SPENDING MORE TIME IN NATURE AS A FAMILY

It builds confidence.
