It's good to be here in our Country friends - not as easy as many folks overseas think it is but it's better than living in some countries like the USA for instance, where things are more unpredictable than here I think. They have tumultuous weather conditions, violence and flareups on a pretty big scale there - we have so much to be grateful for.

According to Ecosia and other organizations who deal with Climate Change, our recent fires could have been avoided (mostly) if we were prepared. Our government has learnt a 3 Trillion Dollar lesson to avoid repeating that mistake - not to be compared to lives, for sure! We mostly have things good compared to many countries when you think of it.

Because we have been such a generous Country in showing Compassion towards those in need, our Government has allowed Thousands of Boat People and Migrants from other Lands to enter our shores over recent decades which has resulted in a huge deficit in Employment AND Houses for our own people. Our first responsibility is to LOOK AFTER US NOW the Best We Can, hey?…

MANY, MANY THANKS GOES TO ECOSIA AND THEIR FOUNDER CHRISTIAN KROLL WHO FUNDED THE MANY, MANY TREES IN OUR LAND AUSTRALIA THIS YEAR 2020. IT WAS A ROUGH START FOR US AND ECOSIA MEMBERS WORLDWIDE FUNDED 26,446 TREES IN ONE DAY JANUARY 23 - EVERY 45 SEARCHES ON ECOSIA FUNDS THE PLANTING OF A TREE SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD OF WHICH WE HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL RECIPIENTS!!!

About this time last year, I made one of my Best Discoveries on the Internet ever - ECOSIA! I refer to it as the Search Engine With A Heart because it isn't just tech and profits. 80% goes to Planting Trees and Reforesting Countries in urgent need equipping them for Climate Change and also providing Fruit Trees to Feed People in Needy Lands. Christian majored on Tech Studies at University and wasn't sure what his next move would be. It was on a holiday to a country at that time, who were planting lots of Trees he was Envisioned with the Concept we now know today as Ecosia - he could start a Charity Search Engine and channel Profits into Tree Planting, Hey? Contentment is a good thing, it is not dependent on circumstances for our peace of mind. Can you see the beauty of that? Maybe you will after reading this post.
A family member said these words to me today: "I am going to enjoy what I have in life.....I am going to be content with the things that I have and not bother with the things I don't have. I will make the most of everything I have that is good.....it makes me contented and happy. If we want to be happy, we need to stop and think about what we have. Obviously, you have them because you liked them at some stage.I'm going to enjoy them now!"

I can give a hearty "YES" to that because her words (above) are SO TRUE! Happiness is not in endless possessions, the latest car and furniture or that something big you are waiting to happen - whatever that may be - Happiness is within your grasp once you see and find the Value of Contentment.…

The way we look at ourselves is important and has a lot to do with how we experience life. Yes, the way we look inward has to do with our outlook on life.
We all have self-talk, an inner chatter. A dialogue as it were.

Take A Breather - Be Kind To Yourself Each Day

Make sure your dialogue is kind and give it some guidelines on a daily basis until it becomes your friend - bringing to mind positive thoughts, cheerful thoughts and loving thoughts. Yes, feed yourselves this type of thinking until it becomes natural.

Because our inner chatter is somewhat negative for most and unruly for some, with content that is disturbing and sometimes troublesome if not kept in check. Yes, you can monitor this self talk and tell it what to say, so to speak. You can decide the things you would like to hear. 

Our God given Power of Choice is a wonderful thing. We can choose what we want in life_ company, past-time and interests, food and cuisine, TV programs and websites etc and we can determine what type of thoughts we like to think, so we can see ourselves and life around us differently. …

We're proud of our country here Down Under with sunny riverbanks etc Let's be more patriotic like some other countries are hey? Founding days, mostly as convicts are way past now and there is so much to be proud of. We need to Celebrate our Country AUSTRALIA. There were wonderful declarations made over our shores when we discovered this Great Land.

There will be some posts on things we can change in our country towards some real progress with certain things that have been overlooked or not dealt with.

Through changes over time, we're not subordinates now (subdued, dominated and defeated) we are a people with dignity and we need to Speak Up more often when things are not good for us, like Chemical laden food and agriculture etc. not to mention our Water Supply!

For several decades now, we have let Politicians play amuck at Voting Times, breaking Election promises all too often and as long as I remember, it has been Labour or Liberal....Liberal or Labour with our Preferential System for Votes. Now, since we have a way out of that, through changes made just prior to our last national vote at the Federal Elections in May 2019 we need to fully realise what power is in our hands with future Votes.…
