I think all of us has a child inside of us that feels good when promises are kept. This is a message for Today isn’t it?......where so many promises are not kept with the busy rush and pace of life_ it's activity and responsibilities? For me, I said to Jesus with some very genuine people who had good intentions I'm sure.... "regardless of those, they too have let me down."

Sometimes people can damage our trust with broken promises through sheer carelessness (rash promises) or neglect. There is a Bible verse which says to “Let your Yes be Yes and your No be No”.  I say to Christians in a different website I run “Let us be keepers of His Word – that is to keep our words.” Otherwise, it is best not to make promises, even if the person may feel good for the moment – they may be twice as upset later.....hey? It's true. I have had a few repeats of this recently. Just because I write Inspirations does not mean to say I'm exempt from disappointments, and I am a happy peaceful person these days.…

Artificial sweeteners have been considered a solution to the problems caused by sugar intake. They lack calories and are advertised as a healthy alternative to high fructose corn syrup and sugar. However, studies have shown that consuming artificial sweeteners might make you gain weight faster than if you were consuming regular sugar. Artificial sweeteners slow your metabolism and ultimately trigger you to eat more. Things You Can Do With Difficult Friendships

These are stressful days we are living in – there’s no doubt about that – and many people are becoming “Needs-Orientated” because they don’t have managing skills. These are Life Skills we all need to develop and some mistakenly expect others to have these Life Skills for them. Or worse still, they want to constantly Off-Load their problems on others as their way of coping or complaining about life and that is SIMPLY UNFAIR.

You have come to the right place if you have problematic friendships. I’ve had a few and I found what to do. Of necessity, it was a real awakening in recent years.

Because I was far too Caring, I did not “practice the Principles I needed to” for my sanity (so to speak) and Peace of Mind. Looking back now, that so sapped up my energies, I’ve not been able to do some things I had planned to do because my energies were somewhat drained. They called themselves Friends but they needed a good spanking – they did not take responsibility for mistakes they were making and leaned much of their weight on me!…

Real Foods and Moderate Exercise are the BEST way to Slim and to Maintain GOOD HEALTH. Be aware that Low Fat Diets and Artificial Sweeteners are damaging. So is Strenuous Exercise – they will not help you!

Truth of the matter is, you would be far better following a few IMPORTANT PRINCIPLES, knowing what to AVOID and trying some GOOD NUTRITIOUS Dieting, than all the Fad Diets out there. Especially Chemist and Supermarket brands. Most Slimming Diets are Gimmicky – they are flawed and Cleverly Marketed through the POWER OF PERSUASION. Sometimes there is a Diet that worked for SOME PEOPLE who really gave it their Best Effort and things worked In Their Favour. Those Weight Loss Programs have a Principle of some kind working for them, not everyone responds to and they are very expensive.

The companies are happy to show you Before and After photos and tell you it works for everyone, which is a Lie of-course because different things work for different people and results vary with the individual. No-one’s bio-chemistry is the same but they are happy to tell you “Our Product Will Work For You”…… that my friend is Commercialism (enterprise for your dollar).…

SIMPLE WAYS TO REMEMBER THINGS

Think of something (that only) for 8 seconds, nothing else………this will place it in your memory. Especially if you do this a few times in the same day and recall it each day for a few days…….this will help to set it.

If you want to remember names, each time you meet someone, ask their name and address them by their name 4-5 times in the conversation and you will more readily remember it – especially if you recall it later in the day and the next day and the next few days.…
