“I don't believe what the World's Come to!
My Mind Boggles in Disbelief....is it a Bad Dream?"

If you find yourself thinking thoughts like this, reading this Post could make some sense to you. Is it right for me to write this Article? Maybe you will realize something you have not before after reading. I felt that maybe
I should write on this Topic because so many people are asking the Question "What's happening to this World? Why all this?"

Does Religion Put You Off? It does Me. There are so many who like to Impose Religious Dogmas - One Brand over Another. I do find Atheists just as Religious because they often like to Impose their Dogmas. It does however seem evident that Some people who Claim to be Atheists just like to Protect themselves from the likes of Religion. You can understand their sentiments - those Religious Impositions really do get too much sometimes, the people are so overbearing!

So rest assured I have No Religious agendas of any kind because personally, I do not have any Churchy or Religious Affiliations but Enjoy a Simple Walk with Jesus and relating with Him.…

Hi Friends, I have been sharing recently, how Jesus Came through for me in various situations in my life, on a different Website. I will never Impose Religion of any kind, but love His Words when they are not Misconstrued.

I encourage you to Stay With Me through this Article,
because some of it will really Resonate with Many of You.

Jesus told me through a Genuine Christian years ago, He is going to soften hard hearts through me (at some time in some way.)
I prefer people with soft hearts, to encourage and pray for them, you know? However, there’s been 4 decades of working parents now, in Western Countries, without closely-knit loving cultures like there are in some Countries. So many people have been brought up without the Love and Attention they needed from their Parents, when their emotions were developing and have developed a hard shell around their hearts.

How can they believe God Loves them if their Parents didn’t express love toward them? Their minds have been conditioned that way. Their parents were too Busy; too Materialistic; too Techy etc.

I believe it’s possible there won’t be a dry eye when they read some of my Testimonies on the other Website.…

Depends what you mean, a real Christian Walk or a Churchy Christian Walk. Yes there is a marked difference. And sad to say most of what we see around us these days is far removed from what a Christian Walk was all about when it commenced 2,000 years ago, in it's original form. It was real, it was powerful, it was inviting.
So much so, people who witnessed it kept asking to join in (they did not need to be asked) and the numbers grew exponentially. It was unstoppable and something went very wrong 3 centuries later.

In 330AD, a Roman Emperor felt so threatened by this, he sought to make it a State Institution, so he could gain some control over the workings of it - the way they functioned. So Christianity was never meant to be like that, No, many need to get their Facts Straight and See the True Picture, not what they've been told in ignorance. Local Churches was Not the practice of Early Christians, much less Hierarchy. Those practices drastically altered Christianity. It became an Institution like any other Institution, with a history of Powerless Religion (apart from some practices that were restored much later) That's the sad reality of it.…

THIS IS A FABULOUS ARTICLE NOW IN A BOOK AS WELL BECAUSE IT CAPTURED THE HEARTS OF MANY PEOPLE, AND STILL DOES (her article or her book). WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T MISS THIS - IT IMPARTS HOPE, IT INSPIRES MOTIVATION, THERE ARE PRINCIPLES EVERYONE CAN PRACTICE.

Amy, a Social Worker and Psychologist, experienced several family tragedies, including the death of a husband, her mother, and later her next husband’s father. She wrote the mentally strong article just as much for herself as for her readers.

After her article was published on Lifehack, she received a notice that was sent to all contributors — "Do not submit any new articles because the site is receiving much more traffic than normal!" Amy didn’t realize it at the time, but it was her article that triggered the wave of traffic.

Now in a book “13 things mentally strong people don’t do” Amy gives tips, exercises and excellent advice on increasing our mental strength which can change our entire attitude:

  1. They don’t waste time feeling sorry for themselves.
“Self pity is easily the most destructive of the non-pharmaceutical narcotics; it is addictive, gives momentary pleasure and separates the victim form reality” – John Gardner.

We live in a kind of performance driven society in some respects, don't we? Where so much is expected of us - how we do this and the way we do that? A day of A Distinctions at School, High expectations in the Workplace, Entrepreneurs, how we present ourselves over Social Media. Etc. So many feel the Pressure of really high standards being imposed upon them, who aren't Perfectionists by nature. This Post should really benefit some of you - I chose two articles, so the positive is presented.

Perfectionism Is Destroying The Mental Health
Of My Millennial Generation

By Daisy Buchanan

It began at school, with A-Star expectations and a dread of failure. Now we’re on social media platforms, locked into a game of mutually assured depression.

During many work interviews, it’s common to be asked: “What’s your biggest weakness?” It’s an awful question to respond to on the spot. We know it’s a trick, and the answer isn’t: “Sometimes it takes me more than two hours to stop looking at my phone and get dressed after a shower” whatever.

The cheat’s answer of choice, the panicky pick that puts you in a better light than the truth might, is along the lines of: “I’m a perfectionist.”…

IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, SOME OF US HAVE LEARNT SOME GOOD COPING SKILLS, AND OTHERS ARE REALLY COPING NOT SO WELL. MOST TIMES, YOU CAN'T CHANGE CIRCUMSTANCES FOR THEM, BUT YOU CAN MAYBE MAKE THINGS A LITTLE LIGHTER BY BREAKING UP SOME POSSIBLE RUMINATION AND GIVING THEM SOME TANGIBLE IDEAS TO DISPERSE SOME CLOUDY THOUGHTS. SOMETIMES, JUST A SIMPLE INTERVENTION OF HAVING YOUR COMPANY FOR A WHILE AND DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT CAN BREAK UP A SOMBER STATE OF MIND THAT IS MAKING THEM FEEL SAD, LONELY OR VULNERABLE. IT'S SHOWING THEM SOMEONE CARES, HEY? AND THAT CAN MEAN A LOT.

Write Them A Card

If your goal is to cheer someone up, send snail mail and mail them a card. Let the card be a surprise. Within the card, write down all the reasons why you think that person is incredible. It’s a great way to make the person feel special and appreciated. It’ll likely be kept as a memento for years to come. If the person who needs cheering up typically doesn’t get mail, this will be a pleasant surprise for them.…

Self-kindness can boost our mental health and help us navigate stressful situations. This is what we can do to nurture more of it.

Importance Of Practicing Some Self-Kindness - An Absolute Must!

Observing the breeze blow gently through the trees, savoring the delicate taste of a morning cuppa and curling up with a diverting novel in hand: far from being an extravagance, as these acts of self-kindness have sometimes been treated, they are in fact the fundamental building blocks of strong mental health.

In a world that is increasingly time-pressured and an economic model that has an unyielding focus on improving efficiency, it is easier than ever to overlook or de-prioritise your personal feelings and needs.

But according to psychologists, the art of self-kindness, although something that can be honed, is not something that should be optional. Whether it be in the realms of the physical, emotional, spiritual, or indeed professional, being conscious and sensitive towards yourself, they say, is key preparation for everything that life throws at us.

“It can change your life massively,” says Juandri Buitendag, a counseling psychologist who founded JB Wellness Dynamics, a London-based psychology therapy practice.…

I Found These In An Article Called 'How to be Happy: Scientifically Proven Ways to Be Happier'......This Will Also Help You With Parenting, Providing A Healthy Environment For Your Kids. These Positive Traits We Can Develop Make Us More Cheerful And Raise Stronger Kids.

Wow - I Can Learn These Positive Traits
(A Step At A Time)

See the positive

Researchers have found that we’re happier when we see the positive. This doesn’t mean we live in a dream world where we don’t see problems. It means we notice the positive. The good news is that we can train our brains. over time, to more often see the positive.

Here are some ways we can be Positive

Perform at least one act of kindness daily.
As you start performing acts of kindness, you’ll notice more and more opportunities to be kind. A study from Michael StegerOpens in a new window showed that kind acts increase happiness, and performing kind acts starts shifting our mindset to a more positive outlook.

As far as acts of kindness go, think small. A “thank you note” in your spouse’s lunch, an email to one of your kid’s amazing teachers, etc.
