The Australian Signals Directorate is expected to get a $1.35 billion funding boost over 10 years to help protect the country against cyber attacks.

Australia will ramp up its fight against hackers with a $1.35 billion package set to create 500 new positions to stamp out malicious cyber attacks.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison will on Tuesday announce the package, weeks after revealing a foreign government was behind an escalation in online threats.

Experts have widely blamed China for the attacks, targeting government, critical infrastructure and business.

The federal government's package will direct $1.35 billion over 10 years to cybersecurity, with $470 million to be spent on 500 online spies at the Australian Signals Directorate.

More than $31 million will be spent on battling cybercrime offshore, giving Australia increased capacity to go after foreign criminals online.

A new cyber threat-sharing platform allowing industry and government to share intelligence will receive more than $35 million.

Defence Minister Linda Reynolds denied the package was a response to United States pressure.

"This is an Australian response to threats to our own nation," she told the Seven Network on Tuesday.

She said the funding would boost technology and resources available to ASD and the Australian Cyber Security Centre

"Malicious cyber activity against Australia and Australians is increasing in both scale, complexity and impact," Senator Reynolds said.…

A Victorian mum was left floored after buying a second-hand car and discovering the owner had left her a gift of “incredible thoughtfulness”

By Sarah McPhee

A single mother has shared an “incredible” act of kindness that brought her to tears after she purchased a second-hand car.

Jen Willis, from the Victorian town of Daylesford, northwest of Melbourne, bought the vehicle privately last week but soon discovered the owner had left her a heartwarming surprise.

A white envelope containing three $50 notes had been tucked between the sun visor and roof.

“This is a random act of kindness,” the note reads.

“Please use to spoil your family in a way that makes you happy.

“Just felt it on my heart to do this for you, in what sounded like a challenging time for you.”

Ms Willis said it was “such a beautiful random act of kindness” to be gifted.

“With only one adult now in our household here in Daylesford, I did a two for one with our cars and sold our Prado and Suzuki Swift to a dealer and bought a Subaru Outback privately and when I pulled down the sun visor as I went to drive my new car home, this fell into my lap,” she wrote on Facebook.…

There is a Vital Principle, that if practiced should most times, spare us the necessity of Medical intervention.
I will teach you how to Look After Your Immune System here and Strengthen it.

Please stay with me, I will take you somewhere in this post as you read further. Keep Reading!

We would be better looking after our own Antibodies, hey? Shall we do that? LET'S GO>>>

So far this year, it seems evident to me that people in USA where Diet Standards are Very Poor, leading to Compromised Immune Systems and some third world countries where people are impoverished and lacking Vital Nutrients and Antioxidants to build Immunity, more people without a doubt are affected by these modern time Viruses in greater numbers. And also where little restraint is practiced when it comes to protective measures like Distancing we have practiced so well in Australia and New Zealand, recording good results and making us the first countries to be breaking free of this life threatening virus.

Belgium Scientists efforts to find Strong Antibodies – in place of strong Medical Drugs – I hope you can see a Vital Principle here, that ‘Wonder Drugs’ are not the Answer to the Health Needs of Today and they actually weren’t years ago, in the first place.…

Lonely From Social Distancing? Here is One of Our Favourite Videos of Humanity Hugging It Out.

By Good News Network - April 16th 2020

It has been almost 14 years since Australian man Juan Mann first stood in a city square with a large cardboard sign that read “Free Hugs”—but his iconic campaign has left a lasting imprint on the world.

Mann popularized the slogan after he filmed his Free Hugs Campaign music video to the Sick Puppies song “All the Same” back in 2006—and it has since been viewed a whopping 78 million times.

So for all of you who may be feeling down and lonely during these turbulent times of social distancing, we’re reposting this video to remind you that these stay-at-home restrictions are only temporary and our communities will be stronger as a result of it.…

It's good to be here in our Country friends - not as easy as many folks overseas think it is but it's better than living in some countries like the USA for instance, where things are more unpredictable than here I think. They have tumultuous weather conditions, violence and flareups on a pretty big scale there - we have so much to be grateful for.

According to Ecosia and other organizations who deal with Climate Change, our recent fires could have been avoided (mostly) if we were prepared. Our government has learnt a 3 Trillion Dollar lesson to avoid repeating that mistake - not to be compared to lives, for sure! We mostly have things good compared to many countries when you think of it.

Because we have been such a generous Country in showing Compassion towards those in need, our Government has allowed Thousands of Boat People and Migrants from other Lands to enter our shores over recent decades which has resulted in a huge deficit in Employment AND Houses for our own people. Our first responsibility is to LOOK AFTER US NOW the Best We Can, hey?…

MANY, MANY THANKS GOES TO ECOSIA AND THEIR FOUNDER CHRISTIAN KROLL WHO FUNDED THE MANY, MANY TREES IN OUR LAND AUSTRALIA THIS YEAR 2020. IT WAS A ROUGH START FOR US AND ECOSIA MEMBERS WORLDWIDE FUNDED 26,446 TREES IN ONE DAY JANUARY 23 - EVERY 45 SEARCHES ON ECOSIA FUNDS THE PLANTING OF A TREE SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD OF WHICH WE HAVE BEEN GRATEFUL RECIPIENTS!!!

About this time last year, I made one of my Best Discoveries on the Internet ever - ECOSIA! I refer to it as the Search Engine With A Heart because it isn't just tech and profits. 80% goes to Planting Trees and Reforesting Countries in urgent need equipping them for Climate Change and also providing Fruit Trees to Feed People in Needy Lands. Christian majored on Tech Studies at University and wasn't sure what his next move would be. It was on a holiday to a country at that time, who were planting lots of Trees he was Envisioned with the Concept we now know today as Ecosia - he could start a Charity Search Engine and channel Profits into Tree Planting, Hey? Unlike Google, our Searches are Private.

Andrew And Nicola Forrest, Well Known For Their Philanthropy Towards People In AUSTRALIA And Globally. They Are Co-Founders Of The Minderoo Foundation In Western Australia, Which Gives Huge Sums Of Money To Humanitarian Projects, Scientific Research And Environmental Conservation Projects For The Benefit of Mankind. As Billionaires With A Heart, They Keep Growing Wealth And Giving Most Of It Away, Unlike Most Billionaires Who Are Inseparably Attached To Their Fortunes, Hey?

For those who are not familiar with the word Philanthropy, it has to do with benevolence and giving freely, expecting nothing in return. It consists of privately (independent of governments) funding initiatives for the public good and focusing on the quality of life. Philathrophic is a person or organization seeking to promote the welfare of others. They are generous and benevolent.

From what I have been reading today, Andrew and Nicola are all of that. I'm praising God for my discoveries about them and wondering where I have been in recent years not to have heard about them before. Having spent much time in Independent Natural Health Research for many years and several Inspirational Websites in recent years is a sure distraction from a lot of things people who like to keep up with Current Affairs.…
